Refund Policy

Introduction

This Refund Policy applies to payments made through the website of The Vanuatu Emergency Service Association Committee (Inc.) (“VESA”), including donations, product purchases, memberships and training course bookings. By making a payment through this website or via linked third-party platforms, you agree to the terms set out below.

Donations

Donations made to VESA are voluntary contributions made to support our charitable mission. Donations are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or in the event of a proven processing error.

Memberships

Membership fees contribute to supporting VESA’s emergency medical and rescue services.

  • Membership payments are non-refundable once processed.
  • Memberships do not constitute insurance and do not guarantee service availability.

In exceptional circumstances, refund requests may be considered at VESA’s discretion.

Training Classes and Bookings

Refunds for First Aid training classes may be considered under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted prior to the scheduled course date.
  • Refund eligibility and amounts may depend on notice period and administrative costs.
  • No refunds will be issued for non-attendance without prior notice.

VESA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered a rescheduled date or a refund.

Products Purchased Through the Online Shop

Where products are sold through the Website:

  • Refunds or exchanges may be considered for faulty or damaged items, subject to inspection.
  • Requests must be made within a reasonable time after receipt of the product.
  • Items damaged due to misuse or normal wear are not eligible for refund.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Third-Party Payment Platforms

Payments may be processed via third-party payment gateways or booking platforms.

VESA does not control these platforms and is not responsible for their refund processes, delays or errors. Refunds processed through third-party platforms remain subject to their respective terms and conditions.
